‘Unique’ was first created with a pink acrylic background, when I had the sudden, unique experiment idea about creating a repeat pattern using block printing on top. I carved a duck shape into a small polystyrene tile, then applied black water based Printing ink, finally printing multiple times onto the acrylic. This experiment was inspired by a previous college project where I printed with leaves using different media. ‘Unique’ is well loved, and has inspired me to think about lots of other printing experiments for future paintings, hopefully inspiring you to!

  • Canon recommends handling the paper by its edges and avoid touching the print surface. Dirt and Scratches can impair print quality. Avoid bending the paper, scratching it, or getting fingerprints on the print surface. Store your print in albums, clear photo sleeves or glass frames to protect them from direct exposure to air. Leaving your print in direct sunlight, locations exposed to high temperatures and humidity will overtime damage your print.
