‘Rose Ivy’ was created using ivy leaves and printing them using dark blue and yellow acrylics for the background, before creating the rose shape, finally outlining with a black fine liner and flicking some white acrylic down. The roses were created as I had just learnt a technique on how to create roses like the ones in this painting. The inspiration for printing with leaves, came from an experiment I did in my previous college project, where I used different media to print with leaves. ‘Rose Ivy’ is one of my most favourite paintings I have done so far, and I hope it is your too!

Canon recommends handling the paper by its edges and avoid touching the print surface. Dirt and Scratches can impair print quality. Avoid bending the paper, scratching it, or getting fingerprints on the print surface. Store your print in albums, clear photo sleeves or glass frames to protect them from direct exposure to air. Leaving your print in direct sunlight, locations exposed to high temperatures and humidity will overtime damage your print.
