Secret GardenMy piece ‘Secret Garden’ is about how I feel when I’m out in my garden.
Some of my anxieties are from being around other people, especially when they don’t understand why I do certain things. Things that I do because of my anxiety or when I’m dealing with a PoTS episode.
Previously I was too anxious to be out in my own garden because I was too anxious about being seen by other people, but now I feel privacy and able to, as the flowers, bushes and trees somewhat hide me from view. It’s a ... | Through and Through‘Through and Through’ is a painting about working your way through a challenging situation.
For me, these past years I have found myself working through many challenging situations, such as diagnoses' I had never heard of before and researching ways of coping and for a better understanding of them. I found myself experiencing horrendous anxiety and panic attacks, depression and fighting several neglectful health and support services.
When you’re working your way through tough challenges ... | 'Light Awakening'‘Light Awakening’ is about having a little sense of realisation. Recently, I have had small doses of a reality check, about how I am living my life and what I am doing to myself. Although not all of this is negative. I have recently picked up healthy habits, such as self-care, developing my own style, aerobics, a better diet, working on my art career, just to name a few.
These light awakenings happen often, which means I am constantly learning and improving, like art, where you are always ... |

'I'm Here' Blue Version | Life's a VineMy painting ‘Life’s a Vine’ is about the aftermath when dealing with discrimination.
So, what is the definition of ‘Vine’?
“A climbing or trailing woody-stemmed plant”
When I look at the definition of the word ‘vine’, it brings back memories of the times I’ve faced inequality in the form of discrimination, which so far has been a fair few.
In the times I have been discriminated against it’s like you’ve been knocked down, and, like a vine, you must climb. Climb your way back up.
Of course... | Horloges de la NatureOne of my favourite moments of painting is how therapeutic it is.
When creating this painting in my garden, I felt truly at peace and enjoyed my surroundings of fresh air, birds, and empty thoughts.
This painting is very special to me, as this was the biggest step when I was starting my recovery from being housebound these several long years.
The name was created in French because I can see what looks to be the Eiffel tower, ‘Horloges de la Nature’ Google translates to ‘Nature Clock'... |

Halloween Lovestory‘Halloween Lovestory’ is about a witch and a vampire finding a romantic moment amid a pumpkin patch, underneath the moonlight, the only time they can be together. This piece is to help remind people that love can come from all different, shapes, sizes and angles. No matter who or what we are, we can always find our one true love. ‘Halloween Lovestory’ has got to be one of my most favourite meanings in my paintings. | Sunrise of the SouthwestCreated whilst experimenting with Water-soluble Oils for Mum's Birthday, this stunning print was inspired by the beautiful morning at my local hometown seaside, located in Dorset, Southwest England. | Explorer'sWhilst creating this piece, I noticed the figure on the left, soon after finding the figure on the right, which I enhanced. This was all created by accident but such a happy accident it was! I imagine the two figures are out hiking or exploring the Egyptian pyramids or perhaps trekking through a jungle, wherever your imagination can lead to! |
